‘The Flowers, Flowers Van’ 2024. Oil on linen. 45 x 60 cm. sold
I thoroughly enjoyed being a competitor on Sky Arts Landscape Artist of The Year 2024. Heats were filmed in June 2023 at Hever Castle and shown on Sky Arts in January 2024.

St Albans Market Project ongoing….
St Albans is renowned for its two charter markets – Wednesday & Saturday and over 1,100 years old! I began drawing the Wednesday Market in February 2022, taking a year to draw every stall/van. Starting from The Cheesewheeler Van by St Catherine Street and finishing at The PapaPaella Van, near the Great Gable House.
It’s been amazing hearing the individual stories of each person along the way. So many of the stall holders who worked with their grandparents, as young people, are now continuing the legacy.
In March 2023 I started painting plein-air, each stall/van I had previously drawn.
