It’s Charlotte Head here, my dad was working at your house. You were also the lovely woman who gave me the Toulouse-Lautrec sketchbook and a print of your drawing that is on the Tower of London. You really inspired me to draw again and I’m really thankful.

Hello lovely friend! Oh how you have progressed since the days you were kind enough to take me to an art class where I tore up all my work at the end of each session and you didn’t! (you never needed to!). Wonderful stuff, so moving and full of life. I can imagine each person you drew being drawn into a beautiful conversation with you…your art is an extension of you Rydal Hanbury. x
